JUSTICE NEEDS HELP

This is Justice and he was beaten until his back bone snapped into two.
The perpetrators also broke his pelvis in several places and the atrocities against this poor puppy was committed at a location (in Kuantan) where such an incident should not have happened at all.
Luckily for Justice, he was rescued by a Good Samaritan who is going all out to ensure that this puppy gets the best.
Justice is now under our care and is admitted in a veterinary clinic in Petaling Jaya where we are hoping that he would undergo surgery to reattach his severed spinal bone and cord.
Justice wants to live and we can see this in his eyes.
In spite of having been brutalised, there isn't a tinge of aggression in Justice and it can be clearly seen that this puppy has placed its trust in the people who are caring for it now.
The surgery will cost quite a bit of money and the expense does not stop there.
We do not expect him to ever walk again but believe the surgery will restore some bowel control which will enable us to eventually, when he grows-up, to commission wheels for him.
Right now we do not have sufficient money for the surgery as well as post-surgery care, which includes buying drugs that will possibly help his transacted bone and spinal cord regenerate.
We are therefore hoping that you will help us help Justice get the surgery he urgently needs.
We are hoping that the surgery can be scheduled next week. Please help Justice live.

TOYOTA HARRIER DUMPING OF MAMA DOG AND PUPPIES

October 8, 2011
Subang USJ 10
Culprit - White Toyota Harrier WQB xxx (confirmed a Subang USJ resident)

Mommy had read about this at her facebook page that evening 6:30pm when she came back from delivering some stuff to her friends and she was so out of words. Mommy told me about the incident and I was so so sad. I was wondering what had this doggie and her innocent puppies done to deserve all this. :-
Jaime, had the shock of her life late this morning when she saw someone dumping a mother dog and five pups near Goodyear Court 10 in USJ Subang Jaya. According to her, a white Toyota Harrier bearing the registration number WQB *** stopped and let the mum and pups out of the car. The puppies were less than a month old. Jaine was too shocked to take photographs but went back to look for the dogs - t......he mother she says is short-legged and is a mix of brown and white. It rained heavily after that and we hope the puppies and their mother are safe. We will go in search for the doggie family but need people to also search the locality. This is a good example of how pathetic and wicked some people are - ITS YOUR PET - YOU MADE THE MISTAKE OF NOT NEUTERING THE POOR DOG YOU DUMBASS, WHY PUNISH THE DOG AND ITS VERY YOUNG PUPPIES? We have heard first account narration of how people have seen idiots throwing dogs out of their cars on highways. Apparently, this is to prevent the dog from finding its way home. PLEASE CIRCULATE THIS AS WIDELY AS POSSIBLE. DOG ABUSERS MUST BE SHAMED!
(The incident above can be viewed at MDDB's Blog)

Mommy and her god-sis who came visit that day and my little human brother immediately went searching for the mama dog and her puppies. They went to Court 10 area, Toyota Showroom at USJ13 but we couldn't see her. As night approaching, visibility was poor. Mommy had to call off the search. When mommy's car reached the driveway, Happy and I were so excited to see them hoping to find those doggies with them. All of them came in and no doggies were with them. They were sad when they came home, so we know what had happened and we kept quiet the whole night.

October 9, 2011
At 12:30pm, mommy went out again to search for this mamadog and her puppies... and this time she search the industrial area near the dumping site but still no sight of them. After some time she came back and started posting about the incident hoping more people are aware of this and just in case others happened to see them can call MDDB (I was one of MDDB's rescued pups too)

October 10, 2011
Mommy got a call from MDDB regarding a sighting by a college student, may be the mama dog we are all looking for. She took my leash, towel and some old newspaper to line her car booth and she speed off to the venue. She told me she bought chicken rice to lure the dog.

When mommy reached the place (USJ14 houses somewhere behind a Petronas station), she saw the nice chap she was on the cellphone with, Lingesh. Lingesh apparently was with the dog for 2 hrs, following it around as he doesn't want to provoke her just incase she gets too scared and runs out to the streets. (Thats the way you should do it). Mama dog was so scared, so tired, so hungry, so worried and so depressed as she wasn't with her puppies. She hid under a car for more than 2 hours and she snaps at whatever that comes near as she is so so afraid. God knows what had happened to her and her pups this few days. Lingesh had fed her some kibbles someone gave him earlier. We named doggie Coco. Coco started to trust Lingesh and came close but when Lingesh wanted to pat her she immediately snaps at him and went back to hiding under the car.

This time she finished the chicken meat and seemed very tired. Mommy had no choice but to take a fish net she borrowed from uncle Koo, to push her out. It took mommy and Lingesh 1hr and 15 minutes to corner her and leashed her.

Mommy looked at the time and she had to go fetch my little brother from kindergarten before she can send Coco for a routine check just in case. Coco is full of ticks due to wondering outside. She is dehydrated as well. Poor Coco. Her pups are no where to be seen. At the vet Coco was given a thorough check and she was dewormed. Her entire medical treatment was sponsored by MDDB. Thank You MDDB.

Vet found Coco to be off milking for more than 48 hrs because her milk production had dried up. Coco is so depressed her puppies are not with her. And what more Coco is just 1 year old... meaning she was pregnant when she was only a puppy! (Look at her innocent puppy look on the right) What does this reflect on her very irresponsible ex-owner? She was not being spayed when it is time to. She was left out wondering most probably to do her business risking the possibilities of being dog-napped or knocked down by vehicles... She was raped by strays due to being on heat and she got herself pregnant with 5 puppies. After delivering her puppies about 1 month, she was taken for a ride in her owner's White Toyota Harrier. She trusted them taking her puppies with her too. They were excited where her owners were taking them... could it be to the groomers? Could it be to the vet to check on her condition as she had just delivered her puppies not long?

Well, they stopped at Subang Jaya USJ Court10 area, by the roadside, the hazard lights are turned on with a Honda City following and parked behind them. The car door were opened and her owner carried them out one by one and placing them by the roadside and they sped off! Coco was stunned and confused why were they being left by the roadside. There were so many cars then. With 5 puppies with her, she was left to fend for herself. There were no shelter, no food and no owner whom she had trusted all her life. She didn't know what to do, where to go. Her doggie instinct just couldn't work as she was a house pet since the day she was born, she thought she has no used for those instincts, and due to that she had lost it naturally. She walks aimlessly with 5 puppies tagging along, following where the road will lead them, puppies were still very young and innocent, not knowing being dumped they played and pushes each other, they were by the roadside of some industrial area ... Some good samaritan helpped her and her puppies crossed the busy traffic to the Honda Showroom side. By now Coco was left with only 3 puppies, it rained that day, her puppies and Coco were all soaked and they were cold and hungry. Night fall, they do not know where to go...

During the inhumane dumping, someone saw the whole incident and jotted down the registration and the happenings and contacted some animal rescued groups. She was seen on the 1st day with 5 puppies tagging along by some passersby, then it was 3 puppies in the evening of the same day. These people didn't know what had happened until they saw the news on facebook. they called the rescued group to tell them where were Coco's last sightings but due to Coco was on the move all the time, its hard to find her.

On the same day Coco was rescued, mommy and some animal rescue friends including Lingesh went back to the sight hoping to find her puppies. They went round the entire USJ14 area and the USJ13 Honda Showroom area but they were no where to be seen. Mommy asked passersby and found out from the daily road sweepers they did recall they saw 3 brownish puppies about the age of 1 month behind a low cost flat at USJ Court10 area. Above picture is where they were last seen on Sunday, October 9. Then they do not remember seeing them anymore on Monday and Tuesday.

Then on Wednesday, the rescue group went to the MPSJ Pound and found 3 puppies there, brought in by someone some 2 days back from Subang USJ area. This 3 puppies do fit the characteristics given by the lady who witnessed the incident but they were very thin. Maybe its because of being in the pound and that they were not being fed and from the ill treatment that had made them loose weight. The nice lady from the rescue group immediately took out some food from her car and fedthe puppies... poor puppies eat like they had never eat before!! The sweet lady then found out from the pound that the puppies are due to be put down on Saturday. They had pleaded to take the puppies out the same day but were denied. They went back to negotiate and they were ask to go through applications and documentations in order to take those puppies. They also will charge for the puppies.

Arrangements had been made for the rescuers to go back to the pound today (Oct 14) to get them puppies out. Well lets pray and keep our fingers cross those are Coco's and they can be rescued before October 15, or they will be put to sleep then.

Please follow my blog for updates.....

Here are pics of Coco at the fosterer's. She is seen wagging her tail after her 1st bath. She is actually a very sweet dog, smart and a mix JRT breed. She doesn't bite stuff and very well behave. I like to play with her. She is starting to trust.
